dc.description.abstractCharles-Louis de Secondat Baron de la Brède also called Montesquieu (1689-1755) published his De l’Esprit des Loix in 1748 in Geneva, he worked on it for two decades.[1] He studied law in Bordeaux and Paris, then he started a political career by purchase of office and inheritance, he was a member of the Académie Françaises and the Royal Society as well as important Salons, then gave all offices on and travelled through Europe.
