『日本書紀』が語る対外戦争－白村江の戦いを中心に－

Abstract

古代の東アジアの国々は政治、経済、文化などにおいて密接な関係を持っており、漢字文化圏という大きな共同体をなしていた。しかし、一つの大きな共同体であるにもかかわらず、国によって国境、またはネーションに対する考えは必ずしも同じではない。このような状況で、中国、日本、新羅、百済といった国々が参与した、白村江の戦いが起きた。この戦いは、古代日本の対外関係のみならず、内政にも大きく影響を与えた。同時に、当時の東アジアという共同体の国家観、国土観、国境、政治的支配権などの問題にも関わっている。日本の文献では、白村江の戦いに関わる記事は主に『日本書紀』「天智天皇紀」（以下、「天智紀」と略す）に記されている。本稿は『日本書紀』を中心に、古代日本の最大の対外戦争といえる白村江の戦いがどのように描かれているかについて検討し、さらに、参戦国である中国および朝鮮諸国の文献とを比較対照することを通して、『日本書紀』の記し方の特色を明らかにする試みである。

古代東亞各國在政治、經濟、文化等各個層面，都具有密切的關聯，彼此之間形成了一個巨大的共同體－漢字文化圈。在這個共同體中，各國對於國境、國家等概念也並不完全相同。在此想法的差異之下，爆發了白村江之戰，中國、日本、新羅、百濟全都參與其中。白村江之戰不僅影響了日本對外的政治關係，更深深影響日本的內政，對於古代日本而言可謂影響甚大。同時此戰役也關連到當時東亞區域的國家觀、國土觀、國境以及政治支配權等等的問題。在日本的文獻中，有關白村江之戰的相關內容，主要記載在《日本書紀》的「天智天皇紀」裡。本稿企圖以《日本書紀》「天智天皇紀」為中心，分析檢討白村江之戰發生的背景、戰況以及戰後的日本，並且將其與中國和朝鮮諸國的文獻進行比較分析，企圖挖掘《日本書紀》「天智天皇紀」之敘述特色。｜The ancient East Asian countries were closely tied at various levels such as politics, economy, culture and so on, then formed a huge community: the cultural circle of Chinese characters. In this community, the concepts of national borders and nations are not exactly the same. Under this idea, Battle of Baijiangkou broke out. China, Yamato Japan, Silla and Baekje all participated in it. The battle not only affected Japan`s foreign political relations, but also deeply affected Japan`s internal affairs, which was very significant for ancient Japan. At the same time, the battle was also related to the issues of national outlook, territorial viewpoint, national borders and political dominance in East Asia at the time. In the Japanese literature, the content about Battle of Baijiangkou is mainly recorded in ＂Chronicle of Emperor Tenji＂ of Nihon Shoki. This paper is aimed at analysis and review of the background, war situation and post-war Japan of Battle of Baijiangkou based on ＂Chronicle of Emperor Tenji＂ of Nihon Shoki. And it tries to compare and anal yze this chapter with the literature of China and Korea, attempting to find out literary features of ＂Chronicle of Emperor Tenji＂ of Nihon Shoki
