蔣中正對1949年失敗的檢討——以演講為中心的探討

Abstract

1949年是蔣中正革命生涯最大的挫折，但是他從挫折中再起，創造了他生涯中的另一個新的階段。蔣中正所以能從挫折中再起，與他不服輸的精神，以及自我反省的能力有極密切的關係。蔣中正的著述中，檢討1949年失敗原因者頗多，分別見於演講、文告、著述、日記等，本文為集中討論的焦點，僅以其在1949年至1952年，四年間關於檢討大陸失敗原因之演講為資料來源，進行內容分析，探討他在公開發表之演講記錄中對於大陸失敗原因的檢討。本文所用講演內容係以秦孝儀主編，1958年10月由中國國民黨中央委員會黨史委員會出版之《總統蔣公思想言論總集》為底本，探討時間以「1949年至1952年」為限，是以1949年6月首次在臺北出席東南區軍事會議總理紀念週，講〈本黨革命的經過與成敗的因果關係〉，痛陳革命失敗的原因開始，至1952年10月，中國國民黨改造完成，舉行第七次全國代表大會，蔣中正向大會進行「政治報告」，全面檢討革命失敗的原因止。

The year 1949 is the greatest defeat of Chiang Kai-shek’s revolution career. Yet he rose again from the failure, created another new stage of his career. The reason that he could rise again is because of his ability of self-examination and perseverance. Lots of his writings are about the examinations of the reasons for the failure of year 1949 shown on his lectures, reports and diaries. This paper focuses on the lectures of that topic between year 1949 and 1952, analyzes their contents, discusses the examinations of the 1949 failure.
