從目錄學的起源論其實用特性

Abstract

目錄之學，成為專門學術，由來已遠，但能歷久彌新，為世人所重，必因其為用，功能顯著。惟前人之於目錄學，多自學術研究之觀點，論其類例之嬗變，與體例之更異，著述甚豐。至所以為用，鮮有論及。本文自目錄學的起源論其功用，其乃為知識資訊與需求者間之橋樑，藉知識之推廣，資訊之傳播，嘉惠世人，目錄之「實用特性」可以完全實現，發展之命脈亦可以常存矣！

Bibliography has developed into a professional field of academics thanks to its notable functionality in application. This paper attempts to expound this functionality by exploring the origins of bibliography. Bibliography plays the role as a bridge between information and its acquirers. The prominent functionality of bibliography could be carried out to its fullest extent and furthermore continue its development through its prevailing of knowledge and communication of information.
