| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 菲律賓南部的回教分離運動，可說是該國國內持續最久，而且也是最嚴重的族群衝突事件。當然導致該事件的原因頗多，除了族群本身的差異外，尚有諸多相關性的因素。 說歷史背景而言，菲律賓過去因為深受殖民母國－西班牙的影響，北部地區可說早已成為以天主教信仰為主的國度，但是南部地區的回教徒卻始終堅持傳統的回教信仰。由於這兩種不同的宗教族群是在西方殖民主義的強制之下，被迫安置在菲律賓的國土之中，因此族群衝突乃成為不可避免的情勢。雖然，菲律賓政府曾經提出諸多因應之措施，以試圖化解回教徒的敵意。不過，該問題並沒有因此而解決，因為這些回教徒始終對政府採取對抗的姿態。 然而，當原本單純的回教族群衝突事件，被外國力量（主要是來自回教世界的國家）介入後，整個事件也說隨即轉變成「文明斷層線的戰爭」－菲南分離運動；換言之，菲南分離運動說是由「外力介入」所引發的「文明衝突」爭端。對此，本文嘗試根據杭廷頓「文明衝突論」觀點，針對「外力介入」與菲南分離運動之關係進行分析，並探討該事件背後所蘊涵的文明衝突因素。 | - |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | The secessionist movement in southern Philippines has lasted for a long time and become the most serious ethnic conflict in the country. In addition to ethnic diversity, the secessionist movement has coincided with a religious faultline. Furthermore, due to the intervention of foreign powers, this ethnic conflict was enlarged to a war of civilizations. This paper, inspired by Samuel Huntington`s insight on civilization, explores the factors behind the clash of civilizations in the Philippines as well as the relationship between foreign involvement and the secessionist movement in southern Philippines. | - |
