| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Main idea construction is one of the important tasks during thereading comprehension process. In this article, theories and empiricalresearch on main idea comprehension of expository text was reviewed fromthe cognitive perspective. Important factors that would affect the processof main idea comprehension was discussed . Focusing on the problem ofpoor readers, some practical teaching instructions were then recommendedto improve the reading abilities of poor readers through facilitating theirreading skills and prior knowledge about text structure. | |
