| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | In terms of an end-user perspective, this paper examines multiple methods of broadening and deepening cultural, academic, and industrial applications of digital archives, with an attempt to achieve efficacious use of digital archives and sustainable cultural transmission through the establishment of stakeholder feedback mechanisms. This study relies on a real world case analysis of the embroidery collection of Hong-gah Museum to explore multifaceted applications of authorized digital collection resources. Development of assistive resource aids is one of the various aspects that will facilitate the applications to effect the maximal social utility of digital archives, with a special emphasis on the promotion of digital archival resources in the educational milieu. Results of the case analysis meanwhile present a successful model for future applications of digital archives to community services. | |
