| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 自1980年代以降，由於電腦科技的快速精進，使得美國許多政府機關開始採用這項技術，來蒐集、儲存、處理及分發傳統的政府出版品(註一)。此項技術的應用，也促使美國政府機關與寄存圖書館在傳統的政府出版品分發與供眾利用的政策方面，產生了很大的衝擊。有關美國聯邦政府資訊對一般社會大眾之可獲性(Availability)及利用性(Accessibility)的探討，近幾年來在政府出版品的專業期刊中屢見不鮮，本文主要是根據近二年來探討較多的電子政府資訊與寄存圖書館制度二個主題作綜合性的整理與分析，以為我國在因應電子科技所可能引發的衝擊預作準備。以下擬就政府資訊的範圍與政策，政府資訊原則及電子資訊對寄存圖書館之衝擊等方面詳加說明。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | In the 1980s, the United States Federal Government Agencies increasingly used electronic formats to collect, store, analyze, and distribute the traditional government publications. As a result, the application of the electronic technology has evidently promoted the availability and accessibility of the federal government information. This paper intends to discuss the impacts of electronic government information products and services on the federal depository libraries. There are five parts in the paper, including the definition of government information and government information policy, the principles of the public information adopted by the U.S. National Commission on Libraries and Information Science, ALA GODORT`s principles on government information, the impacts of electronic government information on the depository libraries, and conclusion. | |
