| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 2008年起山寨手機成為令人注目的產業，約佔中國手機市場市佔率的1/3，究竟什麼樣的原因使山寨機產業得以如此蓬勃發展？本文使用文獻分析法、田野調查和深度訪談法，統整山寨手機產業發展的相關資料，並以發展型國家理論檢視中國的中央和地方政府如何介入山寨手機產業。本文發現山寨手機產業的興起與國家政策走向、中央與地方在法制及執行面上的合作有很大的關聯，且分別以積極及消極的手段來達成目的，這是以往發展型國家理論所忽略的。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | China’s knock-off handsets industry has caught much attention since 2008, occupying one-third of its domestic market. This study aims to understand the reasons why this sector is so prosperous. We delve into the relationships between China’s central and local governments to question the developmentalist states theory. Empirically, not only have the documentary analysis and in-depth interviews been employed, we have also conducted the field work in Shenzhen to collect first-hand data. We find that the success of knock-off handsets sector largely results from co-operation between central and local governments, particularly in term of lawmaking and enforcement. This is what the developmental states theory has neglected for long. | |
