| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | This article discusses the current state of the development of an international relations (IR) theory with Chinese characteristics, analyzing the arguments both for and against such a development. Describing the current state of IR studies in China as ”closed pluralism” in search of theory, the article identifies its characteristics, highlights two major schools of thought, and assesses the implications of the Chinese perspectives on IR theorizing. | |
