| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 摘要本研究之目的，在於建立一個可計算一般均衡模型，以探討引進外籍勞工對臺灣經濟之影響。本研究結合了Brecher and Choiudri (1987)與Basu (1998)之效率工資模型，模型中假設存在一個雙元勞動市場(dual labor market)，其中非技術勞工薪資決定於失業水準，而技術勞工薪資則不受失業水準影響。此模型之特色，就是均衡時可能出現非意願性失業(involuntary unemployment)，而且均衡的非意願性失業水準高低受到貿易政策之影響。本研究分別模擬分析引進外籍勞工以及國內資本外流對臺灣經濟之影響。此外，本研究並進一步探討此模型與充分就業模型或最低工資模型(minimum-wage model)之差異。 | - |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Foreign Workers, Unemployment, and Welfare: A Computable General Equilibrium Analysis Abstract The objective of this study is to establish a computable general equilibrium model to investigate the impact of importing foreign workers on Taiwan. The efficiency wage models of Brecher and Choudri (1987) and Basu (1998) are incorporated. In this model there is a dual labor market where wages of unskilled labor depend on unemployment level whereas wages of skilled labor do not. The distinctive feature of this model is that there exists involuntary unemployment in equilibrium and the equilibrium unemployment rate is affected by trade policy. The effects of import of foreign workers as well as export of domestic capital are investigated. Besides, the differences between this model and full employment model or minimum wage model are discussed. | - |
