題名 文化取向的傳播研究 : 雷蒙.威廉斯論點之探討

摘要 論文提要
本文共約六萬字左右,計分七章。文中所稱「文化取向的傳播研究(Cultural approach to Communication)」,是以英國文化研究(cultural studies)為代表。第一章導論,分析傳播主流研究,並指出其極限,進而說明文化研究正可補其不足。第二章舖陳文化研究之源起、轉捩及其與傳播研究之關係,其中轉捩歷史,則以當代文化研究中心(Center for Contemporary Cultural Studies, CCCS)之發展為例,以反映文化研究理論導向之演變。第三、四、五章分別探討文化研究之巨擘--雷蒙.威廉斯之三組核心概念:(一)文化、傳播與共享過程;(二)感知結構;(三)意圖與霸權,希望經由此途徑瞭解威廉斯論點對文化研究發展的貢獻與啟示。第六章則舉出四個足以彰顯「文化取向的傳播研究」之範例,印證本文之分析。最後一章則思索文化研究之理論導向,並嘗試指出其可供本地傳播研究借鏡之處。
