dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Twelve Pacific Rim countries are currently negotiating the Trans-Pacific Partnership (“TPP”) Agreement. The TPP addresses free trade and environmental challenges to enhance the mutual support regarding trade and the environment. The purposes of this study were to identify the progress that the TPP might achieve concerning environmental protection, and to assess whether the TPP Agreement will be “greener” than other “twentieth-century” trade agreements. Based on the proposed substantive obligations in the environmental chapter, the TPP seems promising. Regarding the enforcement mechanism, however, shadows still remain. | zh_TW |
