| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Due to limitations of physical and mental abilities, students with mental retardation are limited in managing themselves effectively. It is necessary to spend tremendous human resources in taking care of the students as well as safe-guarding them in special education schools. However, more and more products and technologies are being implemented in educational environments to support entrance security personnel and to detect movements of students. This study presents teachers’ opinions and discusses the feasibility of using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology in the school settings. It has been found that most school administrators see great benefits of using this technology in campus security, such as entrance-gate management and supervision of student attendance as well as in off-campus practicum activities. | en_US |
