題名 支援快速網路換手的SIP多方會議
SIP-based Multiparty Conference with Supporting Fast Network Handoff

摘要 隨著行動裝置的激增與無線網路建置的普及,支援多方會議(Multiparty Conference)的SIP VoIP (Voice over IP)勢必會面臨行動裝置移動的換手(Handoff)問題。因此,如何降低因網路換手所造成的傳輸延遲,導致通訊中斷,將會是SIP多方會議 在無線網路環境下首要面臨的課題。本論文以DRCP (Dynamic Registration and Configuration Protocol)為基礎提出一個支援快速網路換手的SIP多方會議架構,除了對目前SIP多方會議架構進行修改,讓SIP伺服器具備收集無線網路存取點(Access Points)的相關資訊能力,並結合IP位址事先配發預留機制,來減少無線網路偵測時間,以及縮減獲得網路位置的延遲。
With the rapid deployment of mobile devices and wireless communicating networks, the communicating qualities of SIP-based VoIP multiparty conference will be affected the handoff problem of device mobility. In order to reduce the influence of VoIP transmission delay and session termination by network handoff of mobile devices, in this paper we use DRCP (Dynamic Registration and Configuration Protocol) to construct a fast handoff scheme for a SIP-based multiparty conference system. In our proposed system, SIP servers can gather the related information of wireless access points, which are located at the same subnet, and integrate IP pre-allocation mechanism to preserve an IP address for the mobile device, when it is moving to in a service area of a new wireless access point, to save the handoff processing time.
