摘要 Frenken(2007)將產業區分為「關聯多樣性」及「非關聯多樣性」,提出產業間多樣性越高的區域,越能促使知識外溢與技術創新,進而利於經濟成長。Luciana等人(2017)進一步將多樣性的理論應用於創意產業,說明多樣性對創意產業的發展具有重要影響。
     
     本文以民國85、90、95及100年工商普查資料為基礎,採用追蹤資料模型進行分析,分析創意產業之關聯多樣性、非關聯多樣性、聚集情形及其他變數對新創廠商之廠商家數及在職人數之影響,探討關聯多樣性對於創意產業的影響,及新創廠商、關聯多樣性與創意產業三者之間的關係。實證分析結果,創意產業非關聯多樣性、關聯多樣性及創意產業群聚對「創意產業新創廠商」之廠商家數及在職人數均有正向影響。
Frenken (2007) categorized businesses as "Related Variety" or "Unrelated Variety," and proposed that if diversity among industries is greater, knowledge spillover and technological innovation will be promoted more, thus facilitating economic growth. Furthermore, Luciana et al. (2017) applied this diversity theory to creative industries and indicated that diversity significantly influences the development of creative industries.
     
     We based this article on industrial and commercial census data from 1996, 2001, 2006, and 2011 and adopted a panel data model to perform our analysis. Then we analyzed such variables as related variety, unrelated variety, clustering situation, and others that may affect the number of manufacturers related to start-ups and employment population, as well as investigate the impact of related variety on creative industries and the relationship between start-ups, related variety, and creative industries. As analyzed from the empirical results, creative industries’ unrelated variety, related variety, and cluster may also positively influence the number of manufacturers and employment population with regard to "creative industry start-ups".
