題名 台灣南島語介音之硏究 : 從聲學證據探討通用制約理論

吳貞慧日期 2002 上傳時間 11-十月-2018 11:53:14 (UTC+8) 摘要 台灣南島語(Formosan languages) 在整個南島語系(Austronesian languages) 中扮演極重要的地位。近年來,投入於台灣南島語的研究也越來越熱烈。但是,從聲學以及音韻學的角度來討論台灣南島語的研究卻極為少數。在台灣南島語中,關於介音的主題常久以來一直為多位語言學家廣泛的討論著。因此,本篇論文將針對較具爭議性的如鄒語、布農語、阿美語等,與滑音/介音相關的主題做一比較、分析、歸納與整理。在歷史文獻中對於滑音/介音是否存在於各台灣南島語之中,許多語言學家提出不同的見解,大致可以分為下列幾種:第一種為滑音/介音並不存在(董同龢,1964)。第二種為滑音/介音應屬於表層結構(surface representation) 並不處於基底結構(underlying representation) (林修旭,1996)。第三種為給予滑音/介音獨立的地位(何大安,1976)。第四種為以聲學的方式證明鄒語中滑音/介音的存在( Wright & Ladefoged,1997)。而聲學的證明是一種表層結構的展現並不能指涉到底層結構的層次。本篇論文試圖從聲學儀器探討滑音/介音存在的可能性,並延伸到以優選理論(optimality theory)之角度來進一步探測滑音/介音在音節結構中的地位。在聲學實驗方面,以聲譜儀來探測這些測試的音在聲譜圖上的表現,比較音位(segment) 的長度(duration),是否長度的延續起了變化。而這個聲學實驗可以延伸到對音韻理論X-tier Theory (Levin 1985)、Moraic Theory (Hyman 1985, Hayes 1989)的驗證。並試圖運用Optimality Theory (Prince and Smolensky 1993) 來分析滑音/介音在音節結構中的表現。此外,文中也試圖討論滑音/介音在鄒語、布農語及阿美語中的出現的情形、分佈的狀況(distribution)、滑音/介音在音韻系統中的音位(phonemics)角色及滑音/介音形成(glide formation)現象加以討論並以音韻理論加以分析。因此,本篇論文以兩種方式來討論滑音/介音在台灣南島語中各種相關的主題。前者是要利用政大語言所內的KAY CSL 4100、5500,收集不同的受試者來自鄒語、布農語、阿美語等參與聲學實驗的語料,再由聲學儀來分析滑音/介音與輔音及元音的關係。後者是以近期音韻理論,衍生理論及優選理論(generative phonology & optimality theory) 對於滑音/介音的地位作一統整性的分析與比較。 參考文獻 Abercrombie, David. 1967.
