| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 本文敘述民國34年(1945)迄今，臺灣公共圖書館事業發展史。以縣市及鄉鎮市圖書館為主。依其發展特色，分為縣市立圖書館時期，民國34年至65年；縣市文化中心時期，民國66年至87年及縣市政府文化局時期，民國88年迄今三個時期。先綜述各時期發展經過，次述及重要發展事項，期鑒古知今，以為未來公共圖書館營運的參考。 | - |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | This paper depicts the historical development of public libraries in Taiwan extending since 1945 until the present time and focuses on the development of local public libraries. The descriptions will cover three major stages in the development of public libraries: the establishment of county/municipal libraries in the period from 1945 to 1976, the development of county/municipal cultural centers from 1977 to 1998, and the establishment of county/municipal cultural affairs bureaus from 1999 until the present time. The descriptions will give an overview of major events taking place in the historical development and highlight the significant progress respectively achieved in each stage. It is anticipated that the past achievements will shed light on the future operation and management of public libraries in Taiwan. | - |
