| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | By studying 10 years` literature and related documents, this paper is a systematic analysis of American presidential libraries, tracing out the historical development of 11 US presidential libraries since 1939, the year when the Roosevelt library was first founded. Serving as an introduction to the origin, development, legislature, operations, functions, and values of this special library, the paper concludes with some comments on the similar suggestions about establishing presidential libraries in Taiwan. | - |
