摘要	權威控制工作在圖書館自動化後益見其重要性，也是圖書館近年來努力的工作方向與熱門話題。本文以臺大圖書館為例，介紹言館權威控制之簡史、人工建檔、在「全國圖書資訊網路系統」及其自動化系統TULIPS建檔之概況、作業流程、使用問題與檢討、未來展望等。將臺大圖書館進行權威控制之經驗與國內圖書館界分享，俾便合作建立中文權威檔。
