| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | The purpose of this article is to introduce the Alexandria Digital Library (ADL), one of six digital library projects, which were announced in the U.S. and supported by the National Science Foundation. The ADL had developed a web prototype system for beta test since mid-June 1995. This paper discussed the project initiation, progress, prototype system, and some comments about the beta tester in details. | |
