| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 本文的目的，在於針對研究科學家資訊搜尋行為的相關文獻加以分析歸納，希望由中了解(1)科學家的研究特性以及影響其產生資訊需求和選擇利用資訊傳播管道的因素；(2)科學家所能獲得利用的資訊傳播管道，了解各種管道及資訊類型的使用情況；(3)科學家對圖書館的看法及使用狀況，以獲知圖書館在其資訊搜尋行為中所扮演的角色；並藉此反思圖書館面對科學家使用狀況的因應改進之道。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | By reviewing the related studies dealing with scientists` information seeking and communication behavior, the purpose of this article is to explore the characters that influence scientists` information needs and sloving way. The scientists` information needs are always related to their studies. Their special work environment and methods effect their information needs and seeking behavior. Therefore, the basic requirements of information need by scientists are not only their completion and precision, but also their availibility. Conveniency of the information channels use diretly affects the efficiency of scientists` research. However, lacking of confidence of resolving information problems applied by librarians, most scientists are still constrained themselves by traditional ways of gathering information and using libraries. Realizing the information-seeking behavior of scientists, the librarians have to improve the quality of acquisition collection and user services, so that they can provide more suitable service to the scientists and won their trust. | |
