| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 近年來由於西文期刊價格漲幅驚人但經費卻無法相對成長，使得國內各圖書館都面臨了預算不足以支應的問題，紛紛進行期刊刪除工作。又由於科技及網路的進步，使得館際複印與文獻傳遞服務速度加快、品質提升，也使得合作館藏發展的可能性大幅提高。再加上電子全文期刊的發展，改變了讀者使用期刊的習慣。這些因素在在都使得圖書館對於期刊的訂購與管理必須要有新的作法與視野，方能提供經濟有效的服務。本文嘗試從館際合作的觀點出發，希望提出相對於不斷要求增加經費的另一種角度，來思考未來可能的因應之道。另就電子全文的研究計劃加以介紹，由於這些計畫的研究成果尚未出爐，無法獲得全部的資訊與研究結論，但是他們所嘗試的新觀念與做法確實值得國內圖書館界參考借鏡。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | The shortcoming of budget for foreign academic journals has impacted library deeply. Moreover, the journal market is a monopoly one. Libraries are more and more difficult to get money from the universities or their parent organizations to maintain journal subscriptions. Journal deselecting becomes one of the most popular ways to respond this problem. On the other hand, the advancement of new information technology and network improves the turnaround time and quality of interlibrary loan (ILL) and document delivery services. The authors conclude ILL/DD offer another viewpoint to the new dilemma for academic libraries in the acquisition, cooperative collection development and management, toward cost-effective and economic performance. | |
