The organization and arrangement of a library catalog is based on the cataloging rules. This paper is to state the brief history of library cataloging codes, the principles of library cataloging rules, and the International Conference on Principles and Future Development of AACR in 1997. Also discussed are the important issues regarding the revision and future development of Anglo-American Cataloging Rules. | |
