| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Rethinking about the one-hundred-year-old metaphor for the library, ”The library is the heart of the university,” this study collected the viewpoints of 230 undergraduate students, who all believed that the library plays a crucial part in the university education. To the university library, ”gateway library” stands as a new goal and concept. ”The library is a gateway to information,” based upon the students` responses, seems to be a more meaningful metaphor. | |
