| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 隨著電腦應用普及與通訊技術日趨成熟，無線網路應用儼然成為本世紀一種新風貌，如何整合無線通訊網路與網際網路的應用技術，成為未來重要的課題。本文內容主要介紹無線網路及其在圖書館之應用。首先敘述網路之定義、沿革與發展，接著介紹無線區域/廣域網路、無線網路之傳輸技術、架構、相關設備以及無線網路之優缺點，最後舉實例說明並提出未來無線網路可能在圖書館之應用，以作為同道規劃圖書館網路時之參考。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | With the prevailing application of computers and the maturing technology of telecommunications, wireless network application has been presenting a new facade to this century. Therefore, it is becoming one of the important agenda of the future to integrate the application and technology of wireless network and internet. The main purpose of this essay is to detail wireless network and its application in libraries. In the beginning the definition, history and development will be described. Next the theme will change to explain the wireless local/wide area network, and then the transmission technology, the architecture, facilities related and the pros-and-cons of wireless network. Lastly the author takes the implementing of wireless network in Libraries as examples and offers her vision of conceivable application of wireless network to libraries in the future. Hope this article can be used as reference for the fellow-workers while in planning the library network. | |
