| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 未來的世代裡，圖書館還有沒有發展的空間？是圖書館界所關心的問題。本文從圖書館的起源、圖書館安身立命的契機、圖書館業務的三大主軸-館藏之蒐集、整理、利用來思考澄清與圖書館相關的問題，期盼使圖書館員清楚自己在做什麼、該如何做？也讓圖書館界以外的社會大眾，知道圖書館在做什麼，和自己有怎樣的關係；再強調圖書館員果能將工作的內涵深化，善盡知識資訊傳播及滿足服務對象需求的功能，圖書館事業就能萬事長存，以為本文前後之呼應。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | This paper provides a forum for the general public to understand the function of a library and discusses relevant issues of library science. The paper covers the origin, the function and task of a library as a point of departure to discuss its position in modem society and its future development. It is emphasized that libraries are responsible for disseminating knowledge and information as well as serving the needs of general public, and librarians are executers of this noble cause. | |
