題名 父母參與對子女教育成就及薪資之影響
The effect of parental involvement on children’s educational achievement and wage

摘要 本研究採用台灣教育長期追蹤資料庫及其後續調查,重新檢視父母教育程度對於子女成就之影響將透過參與子女生活之一系列路徑的情形,並將成就拓展至子女最終教育成就及薪資上,除此之外亦觀察在控制能力、獨立變數以後,這些係數之顯著性及變化情形。研究結果發現,在四類型父母參與中社會面向為父母從事最少之;然而,其卻是對子女不管是在教育成就或是薪資上存在潛在幫助之,其餘參與變數亦是在各模型不同階段或是在不同所得類型家庭中存在顯著性。最後,加入了能力、獨立變數以後,除了模型解釋力大幅增加外,原先各解釋變數之係數亦是產生大幅度變化,故說明了代際間影響、成就之研究及政策若忽略了個人能力的異質性將使得估計結果產生偏誤、使結論失真。
