題名 智慧家居:保險與居家安全之案例分析

摘要 本文透過資料搜集與文獻探討的方式,以CBinsights (2017)為基礎,統整現行智慧家居的分類,以及物聯網技術應用在智慧家居設備的架構。根據PwC (2017) 的調查,消費者對於「智慧家居」的概念與企業想要推展的智慧家居解決方案仍有很大的鴻溝,但在未來,消費者更願意購買具有「節能」以及「安全」的裝置。因此本文以此為出發點,以節能為題,介紹 Tado 這間智慧家居新創公司,並以安全為題,介紹 Hippo 這間提供智慧家居裝置的保險科技公司並進一步整合保險與智慧家居,總結可應用於保單設計的智慧家居設備,讓保險人、被保險人以及住戶,得到三贏的局面。另外,「物聯網」為智慧家居發展的重要推手,其讓家電之間能夠彼此連接與溝通,本文進一步介紹以智慧家居特性為出發點設計的物聯網系統,讓讀者能夠完整了解物聯網式的智慧家居系統,以及其優勢,補足 PwC (2017) 提到消費者與企業之間對智慧家居解決方案需求不一的關鍵因素──消費者不夠瞭解智慧家居概念。
