The purpose of this study was to inquiry the impact of using instant messaging software(LINE)on job burnout. Based on the job demands-resources(JD-R)model, this study was to investigate the relationship between job demands(LINE), job resources, and job burnout. This study used questionnaire survey, we received total 368 effective samples. Data were analyzed by SPSS and LISREL.
Results showed that: Regarding the job demands(LINE)dimension, technology interruption, technology overload, and technology invasion have significant positive impact on job burnout; In the job resources dimension, workplace justice and social support have regulating effect between the job demands(LINE)and job burnout.
Finally, this study suggest that policy makers should reduce excessive job demands(LINE)and increasing important job resources(i.e., workplace justice and social support), which in turn, may decrease the risk for job burnout.
