摘要 此研究是透過全球升降桌產業的五力分析與SWOT分析,審視個案公司在家具零件製造商的身份下,選擇以B2C方式做為進軍台灣消費性家具市場的策略優劣;並分析其原本的競爭優勢是否能在未來的台灣升降桌市場上占有一席之地。同時,期望本研究分析可為日後想轉型的台灣家具產業,提供資源配置與策略運用等建議,也同時審視不同策略的運用可能產生何種效益與結果。
此研究將於以下五個章節對個案進行更深入的分析:第一章,說明本研究的動機與目的為何。第二章,升降桌產業市場分析:解析新的生活工作型態、升降桌的緣由、全球升降桌市場規模以及台灣的升降桌市場規模。第三章,個案公司的背景介紹、現況及競爭優勢。第四章,個案公司B2C進入策略建構與分析。第五章,總結。
This study is based on the five forces analysis and SWOT analysis of the global height-adjustable standing desk industry. The review explores the advantages and disadvantages of the case company, a furniture components manufacturer, when choosing a B2C approach to enter the consumer furniture market in Taiwan. Moreover, an analysis is made to see whether its competitive advantages can help the company become the key player in Taiwan’s height-adjustable standing desk market in the future. Meanwhile, it is hoped that this study can provide suggestions to the other Taiwanese furniture manufacturers who look for the best practice of industry transition, in particular the management of resources distribution and strategy implementation; besides, we will review what kind of benefits and outcomes may be generated by the different strategies.
This study will conduct a more in-depth analysis of the case in the following five chapters: Chapter one explains the motivation and purpose of this study. Chapter Two is about the market analysis of the height-adjustable standing desk Industry: analyze the new life and work style, the requirement reasons for the height-adjustable desk, the market size of global and Taiwanese height-adjustable desk industries. Chapter 3 focuses on the case company’s background, current situation and competitive advantages of the case company. Chapter 4 is introducing the construction and analysis of the case company’s B2C strategy. Chapter 5 summarizes the case study.
