題名 Strengthening teacher training in higher education: what about school bullying management?

摘要 This study aimed to explore teacher competence in immediately intervention in school bullying (CIISB) and develop a course framework for a teacher education program to strengthen student teachers’ CIISB. On the basis of a literature review and interviews with experienced teachers, the construct of CIISB and a script for dealing with school bullying as well as a course framework were developed. Analysis of interview data and relevant literatures resulted in a construct of CIISB and a script for dealing with school bullying as follows: The construct of CIISB is “structuring management of school bullying” and is built on three steps: (a) identifying school bullying, (b) stabilizing the incident, (c) clarifying incidents and implementing learning. A course framework for enhancing student teachers’ CIISB was developed as follows: (a) Step I: Activating Motivation, (b) Step II: Course Explanation, (c) Step III: Case Method, (d) Step IV: Discussion of preventive strategies, (e) Step V: Conclusion of the Course.
