| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Satoru Noda`s work "Golden Kamui" is widely regarded as one of Japan`s representative manga. However, there are many sexual depictions in the work that are not inevitable in a storyline typical of Japanese serialized manga for young people, and it can be assumed that such depictions that violate political correctness are far removed from international and critical acclaim. Nevertheless, the reason why this film is still highly acclaimed is thought to be due more to its depiction of Ainu culture than to its impression of sexuality. | - |
