In the realm of television program production, besides essential personnel and performers, certain productions heavily rely on the active participation of "Live audiences" during the recording process to foster on-site engagement. It is noteworthy that a significant proportion of these Live audience members are temporary participants, with many experiencing the world of television program recording for the first time. Consequently, a compelling need arises for a designated coordinator to manage this dynamic and inexperienced audience effectively during the program recording. This coordinator plays a multifaceted and intricate role within the recording scene's context. This study delineates the core competencies intrinsic to this coordinator, succinctly termed the "Atmosphere Creator." The coordinator's main responsibility centers on the deliberate creation of an atmosphere within the recording studio. This is achieved by utilizing a repertoire of material tools and harnessing environmental variables to craft a distinctive ambiance in various recording scenarios. By conceptualizing this role as the "Atmosphere Creator," we emphasize the coordinator's central mission of shaping the essence of the recording environment. This includes adept manipulation of the emotional states of both the Live audience and novice guests, tailoring them to diverse recording situations. Essentially, the coordinator operates similarly to a nuanced orchestrator, guiding the course of events to achieve the desired atmosphere and effects. Reviewing past literature in the field of television production and broadcasting, the role and tasks of an atmosphere creator, a coordinator with complex responsibilities hidden within the recording scene, have not been defined or explored. In the contemporary television programming landscape, characterized by a vast array of program formats, questions emerge about the transferability of the competencies that atmosphere creators possess across different program genres and recording contexts. Furthermore, there's an intriguing consideration regarding the adaptability of atmosphere creation Skills when transitioning from traditional on-site recordings to online and hybrid formats. Positioned at the juncture of theory and practice, this research embarks on an empirical exploration. It begins with preliminary observational studies, Setting the stage for in-depth interviews with experienced professionals. These interviews aim to: 1) define the role and clarify the core competencies integral to atmosphere creators; 2) examine the dynamics between atmosphere creators and Live audiences or novice participants, focusing on how these interactions shape recording atmospheres in different program types; and 3) analyze how atmosphere creators use a variety of tools to craft recording environments across diverse scenarios. Data from the interviewees are consolidated and content analysis is conducted on "interview texts" and "author's texts" to construct the role definition and work content of atmosphere creators within recording contexts. It is hoped that this research will contribute to various recording environments, events, concerts, and any context that requires atmosphere creation Skills to be employed. This ensures that the role of the atmosphere creator, a coordinator, is no longer that of an anonymous figure hidden within the recording scene.
