Tibetans in Taiwan日期 2023 上傳時間 1-Feb-2024 11:38:07 (UTC+8) 摘要 藏人遷移至臺灣有著複雜的歷史與政治背景因素，這也造成在臺藏人群體的內部異質性，不同時期移居臺灣的藏人有著不同的生命故事。而當藏人的後代逐漸成長，生於臺灣、長於臺灣的他們將會如何看見自己、家庭與臺灣主流社會？成長過程的生命經驗又將如何影響他們？為此，本研究採取人類學民族誌式田野調查，試圖藉由研究者的在場貼近研究對象的觀點，透過在臺藏人後代的生命故事，理解他們如何感知自身與離散的關係、如何於「藏」和臺灣主流文化中找尋屬於自己的身分、又是希望以何種姿態被看見。 透過述說故事，研究發現在臺藏人後代的生命經驗所產生的情感，使離散和日常之間形成一種「疏離，但並非無感」的微妙關係。透過情感，在臺藏人後代展現出多元身分與認同，成為回應主流文化凝視的韌性。同時，本研究亦透過呈現田野工作反思，揭露研究者在田野工作時的心態轉變，期能提供經驗，分享予同樣初次進行田野工作的研究者。
Diasporic Tibetans have immigrated to Taiwan with a complex historical and political circumstances, resulting in heterogeneity within the Tibetan community in Taiwanese society. Their descendants, born and raised in Taiwan, have often been considered to become a “real Tibetan.” However, as these young generations matured, how would they perceive themselves, their family, and their relationship with Taiwanese society? How would their life experiences play an important role in their identity? In order to explore the questions, this study takes anthropological methodology to conduct ethnographic fieldwork. Through the researcher's participant observation in these descendants’ everyday lives, this study seeks to comprehend how they perceive diaspora, how they navigate their identity within both “Tibetan” and Taiwanese mainstream cultures, and how they wish to be seen. By sharing their stories, results of this study show that emotional impact on the life experiences of the young Tibetan diaspora has created a delicate bond between their diaspora existence and their daily routine, which is a sense of alienation, yet not indifferent. In conclusion, the power of emotion has empowered the offspring of Tibetan in Taiwan to express their identities in various ways. The power also served as a resilient response for young Tibetans when facing the gaze from mainstream cultural.
