題名 基於社會網路探勘發展之問題導向網路合作學習平台與學習成效評估研究

摘要 跟以往傳統填鴨式教學不同的是,近來學校教育越來越注重學生自主思考與問題解決能 力的培養。在眾多培養問題解決能力的方法中,以問題導向學習(problem-based learning, PBL) 模式最具代表性。問題導向學習的用意在於鼓勵學習者運用批判性思考、問題解決能力解決 現實世界的問題。近幾年透過網路便利的訊息傳遞、資訊密切的交流與知識分享,促使問題 導向學習也開始發展出網路型態之合作學習模式。在問題導向網路合作學習歷程中,如何促 進學習者與同儕進行合作交流,進而提昇問題解決學習成效,為發展問題導向網路合作學習 模式值得探究的研究問題。因此,本計畫擬於計畫執行的三年期間發展一基於知(cognition)、 行(action)、思(reflection)問題解決學習歷程之「問題導向網路合作學習平台(problem-based collaborative learning system)」,並且基於社會網路探勘(social network mining),在此一平台上 發展「學習夥伴推薦」與「社會互動排名」機制,以支援學習者在問題解決學習過程中遭遇 問題或困難時,能基於「學習夥伴推薦」機制的輔助,找尋合適的同儕幫助學習;並且基於 「社會互動排名」機制,激發潛水者感知其在學習社群中的社會知覺,進而促使潛水者浮出 水面,與其他同儕進行更積極的討論與互動,以促進問題導向合作學習成效。此外,也將基 於同時考量學習者之問題解決能力、學習角色類型與社會網路互動關係,利用基因演算法 (genetic algorithm, GA)發展「最佳化問題導向網路合作學習分組策略機制」,促使問題導向合 作學習小組具有更好的合作學習默契與彼此互補之問題解決能力,以提升問題導向合作學習 小組團體效能與團體凝聚力,進而提昇整體學習社群之問題導向網路合作學習成效。最後, 綜合三年計畫之各項研究成果,發展成一完整之「基於社會網路探勘之問題導向網路合作學 習平台」,並進行此一平台在實務教學上的應用與推廣,提升國內中小學生的問題解決能力。
Different from traditional forced-feeding instruction, current school education has stressed on the cultivation of students’ independent thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Among various problem-solving capability cultivation approaches, problem-based learning models reveal the best representativeness. Problem-based learning aims to encourage learners applying critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to solve problems in the real world. The convenient information transmission and close information exchange and know sharing through the Internet in the past years have facilitated problem-based learning developing a web-based collaborative learning model. In the problem-based web-based collaborative learning process, it is worth exploring the development of problem-based web collaborative learning models to enhance learners and the peers collaboratively solving problems and to promote the learning effectiveness. Accordingly, this three-year project therefore tends to develop Problem-based Collaborative Learning System based on the problem-solving processes of cognition, action, and reflection as well as to develop Learning Partner Recommendation and Social Interaction Ranking mechanism in the system. It aims to support learners looking for appropriate learning peer assistance based on Learning Partner Recommendation when encountering problems or difficulties in the problem-solving learning process and for encouraging lurkers perceiving the social awareness in the learning community, based on Social Interaction Ranking, and proceeding more active discussion and interaction with peers to enhance the problem-based collaborative learning effectiveness. Furthermore, in consideration of learners’ problem-solving capabilities, types of learning roles, and interactive relationship with social network, Optimized Collaborative Group Formation Scheme is developed with genetic algorithm to facilitate better collaborative learning agreement and mutually complementary problem-solving capabilities in the collaborative learning team so as to enhance the efficacy and coherence of the problem-based collaborative learning team and to promote the problem-based web-based collaborative learning effectiveness in the entire learning community. Finally, the research results of the three-year project are organized to develop a complete Problem-based Collaborative Learning System with Social Network Mining, which is practically applied and promoted in instruction to promote the problem-solving capabilities of domestic students.
