| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Environmental, Social, and Governance （ESG） evaluations have become a pivotal metric for assessing corporate sustainability. Traditionally, companies have focused predominantly on financial performance. However, ESG assessments offer a comprehensive appraisal of a company's conduct in environmental care, social responsibility, and governance. Rating agencies provide an aggregate score based on performance in these three domains, which assists investors in understanding the risks and opportunities faced by businesses, thus encouraging enhancements in overall sustainability and value. This study aims to explore how ESG ratings influence the investment behaviors of institutional investors in Taiwan's digital entertainment technology and e-commerce sectors, highlighting the centrality of ESG assessments in investment evaluations. The research provides strategic recommendations to foster sustainable corporate development and value creation. | en_US |
