dc.description.abstract (摘要) | In recent years, with the flourishing development of artificial intelligence (AI), 5G communication and Edge computing, it has driven engineering upgrades, expanded manufacturing capabilities and creating higher value-added server and data center. Particularly, the widespread adoption of ChatGPT and Generative AI application has spurred cloud service providers (CSPs) to actively develop AI servers and customized chip, providing not only new manufacturing opportunity to Taiwan ODM but also driving the supply chains to develop the most advanced electronic components to achieve the fastest speed specification in the Information Communication Technology (ICT) markets. Taiwan ODMs dominates worldwide server manufacturing and shipment and have been cooperated with of cloud service providers (CSPs) in server industry. Supply chain also plays n significant role in AI server to offer the most advanced solution into AI server such as Nvidia, Samsung, Delta, TE Connectivity, etc.
This study utilizes a qualitative case analysis method to research literature which mainly focus on the eco system of AI servers and the development direction of CSPs and supply chain, delving into discussions on competitive strategies. The research includes macroeconomic PEST analysis, five force analysis and competitive strategy to examine the competitive strategy of AI server’s supply chain to grow with AI server trend. | zh_TW |
