摘要 語言(language),可以作為探索人們內在經驗的窗口。語言的視覺形態為文字,我們可以透過人們留下的文字,推敲他們的思想、情緒、態度等等,心理學的文本分析(text analysis)正是一門為了上述目的而發展的技術。心理學家自古就想藉文本分析探索人的心理運作,然而文字資料不易量化,心理學家花費數十年的時間,終於發展出能滿足客觀量化要求的電腦化文本分析技術LIWC。然而,LIWC受限於事先決定好的詞典,無法從文本自身歸納生成文本特徵;另一方面,資訊科學家也開發出許多文本分析技術,這些技術較著重文章結構的分析,這是心理學的文本分析較無法顧及的部分。過去研究發現:不同分析方法捕捉到文本的不同層面,結合不同方法可產生互補效果(Iliev et al., 2015;楊立行與許清芳,2019)。根據此觀點,本研究提出一個研究方法架構,廣泛應用不同的文本分析技術,以共同處理心理學的議題;為此,本研究嘗試結合LIWC和LDA,以安心專線來電者的文本資料為對象,檢驗自殺的逃離自我理論。研究一中,我們整合兩種文本分析以測量構念,並以路徑分析檢驗該理論;研究二中,我們用整合文本分析的方式測量構念,並以層次迴歸分析檢驗理論,尋找最適合用以預測自殺危險性的理論變項,並觀察理論重點變項認知瓦解對於自殺危險性的預測力。研究一及研究二確立了以整合性文本分析檢驗心理學的可行性,也指出不同文本分析各有其適用時機:LIWC能客觀反映語言使用者的注意力焦點,且可將詞彙直接翻轉為心理構念;LDA能捕捉到更寬廣的概念,也可協助我們找到反映語言表達歷程的詞彙集合。此外,研究一及研究二的結果皆支持逃離自我理論預測的方向。整體而言,本研究結果體現了整合文本分析方法於臨床心理學研究上的合用性,可協助研究者檢驗心理學理論,也顯示了文本資料作為研究變項的優勢。

dc.description.abstract (摘要) 語言(language),可以作為探索人們內在經驗的窗口。語言的視覺形態為文字,我們可以透過人們留下的文字,推敲他們的思想、情緒、態度等等,心理學的文本分析(text analysis)正是一門為了上述目的而發展的技術。心理學家自古就想藉文本分析探索人的心理運作,然而文字資料不易量化,心理學家花費數十年的時間,終於發展出能滿足客觀量化要求的電腦化文本分析技術LIWC。然而,LIWC受限於事先決定好的詞典,無法從文本自身歸納生成文本特徵;另一方面,資訊科學家也開發出許多文本分析技術,這些技術較著重文章結構的分析,這是心理學的文本分析較無法顧及的部分。過去研究發現:不同分析方法捕捉到文本的不同層面,結合不同方法可產生互補效果(Iliev et al., 2015;楊立行與許清芳,2019)。根據此觀點,本研究提出一個研究方法架構,廣泛應用不同的文本分析技術,以共同處理心理學的議題;為此,本研究嘗試結合LIWC和LDA,以安心專線來電者的文本資料為對象,檢驗自殺的逃離自我理論。研究一中,我們整合兩種文本分析以測量構念,並以路徑分析檢驗該理論;研究二中,我們用整合文本分析的方式測量構念,並以層次迴歸分析檢驗理論,尋找最適合用以預測自殺危險性的理論變項,並觀察理論重點變項認知瓦解對於自殺危險性的預測力。研究一及研究二確立了以整合性文本分析檢驗心理學的可行性,也指出不同文本分析各有其適用時機:LIWC能客觀反映語言使用者的注意力焦點,且可將詞彙直接翻轉為心理構念;LDA能捕捉到更寬廣的概念,也可協助我們找到反映語言表達歷程的詞彙集合。此外,研究一及研究二的結果皆支持逃離自我理論預測的方向。整體而言,本研究結果體現了整合文本分析方法於臨床心理學研究上的合用性,可協助研究者檢驗心理學理論,也顯示了文本資料作為研究變項的優勢。zh_TW
