| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | In his new book, Professor Liao Chongfei attempts to justify a new practical orientation of Confucian teaching in modern society, which is based on a reconstruction of Xiong Shili’s philosophy in terms of the notion of “New Six Arts.” This book review aims at providing a brief introduction of Liao’s book, and at critizing both the notion of “New Six Arts” and the status of so-called Post-Neo-Confucianism. | |
