摘要 We explore the unintended consequences of decolonising efforts in human services and universities, specifically how they can inadvertently reinforce neoliberalism and perpetuate aspects of ongoing colonialism. Case studies include Indigenous day programs in Taiwan, a decolonisation grant in a Canadian School of Social Work, and a 5-year Taiwanese project on decolonising curriculum and archiving Indigenous knowledge. Key Performance Indicators prioritise cost-benefit analysis over Indigenous community needs. Strict adherence to neoliberal frameworks undermines decolonisation, Indigenous sovereignty, and self-determination. We argue for a broader, critical perspective acknowledging neoliberalism as a source of social injustice requiring decolonisation.
