dc.description.abstract (摘要) | The study explores teachers’ understanding of four knowledge-building principles. The four principles include (1) Real ideas, authentic problems, (2) Improvable ideas, (3) Idea diversity, and (4) Rise above. Data were gathered from 55 teachers. An open coding process was conducted, paired-t-test and ANOVA were performed. Results revealed gaps between teachers’ self-rated understanding and an expert’s assessment of the participants’ understanding of these four principles. Some suggestions were proposed for practical implications. | - |
