摘要 Positionality statement: Taiwan's Indigenous people were the custodian of the Taiwan island since the 17th century. Currently, 16 Indigenous tribes (Amis, Tayal, Paiwan, Bunun, Tsou, Rukai, Puyuma, Saisiyat, Yami, Thao, Kavalan, Truku, Saikizaya, Sediq, Hla'alua, and Kanakananu), Hakka Han, Minnan Han, Han from other parts of China, and immigrants from Vietnamese, Indonesia, and other countries all call this island home. We acknowledge that on this land social division, structural inequalities, and oppression are still ongoing. Being non-indigenous scholars, the authors position themselves as learners and receivers who have humbly learned from all the participating members of this project and those who have come before us.
