摘要 This study explores the ambidexterity of learning (AOL) in Indonesian digital startups. To obtain a better grasp of digital startups, we will examine the moderating effect of internationalization and the dual role of the leader. Both of these factors contribute to increased innovation capabilities. AOL’s direct influence on innovation abilities and the moderating effect of internationalization and leader duality are supported by an analysis of 109 SMEs. These results highlight the importance of AOL for fostering innovation in SMEs. Our further analysis shows that firms pursuing both national and global markets and those where the CEO assumes dual roles are significantly more likely to benefit from AOL. This research uses a knowledge-based perspective of the firm to elucidate ways SMEs can enhance their innovation capability. This research provides valuable insights to managers. It highlights the importance of having effective learning strategies for firms and how to navigate internationalization more effectively.
