| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 目的：腦震盪後症狀(Post-concussion symptoms, PCS)為輕度頭部外傷(Minor traumatic brain injury, MTBI)後最為常見的症狀；而該症狀雖於受傷後三個月可明顯改善，但仍有許多患者會受到此類困擾的長期性影響。過去用以瞭解MTBI患者預後狀態的方式眾多；其中，「返回職場(return to work, RTW)」可謂最重要的指標之一。可惜的是，對於RTW的分析方法，過去疏漏仍多；因而無法釐清MTBI患者的RTW。有鑑於此，本研究以「工作狀態」與「工作穩定度」兩向度所組成之「工作品質」指標，追蹤評估MTBI患者的RTW；除此之外，進一步分析PCS、神經認知功能、情緒表現與工作品質於受傷後各個階段之關聯性。方法：本研究預計為三年期之計劃，邀請200位MTBI患者，分別於受傷後兩週、一個月、六個月、一年、一年半等時間，評估PCS、神經認知功能、情緒行為表現與工作品質。預期結果：事實上，本計劃基於過去本研究團隊之相關成果；在瞭解PCS的可能成因、影響因素，以及處預方案之後，本計劃可完整瞭解MTBI患者於受傷後急性期、亞急性期與穩定期之工作品質。此部分不僅為目前國際首見之RTW整體評估模式；更藉由分析MTBI患者之多重影響因素，提供MTBI患者RTW之全面性瞭解。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Objectives: Post-concussion symptoms (PCS) are not uncommon after mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI). Although these symptoms improved by 3 months after MTBI, patients may still suffer from PCS for several years, which further caused significant social and economic burdens. Many researchers have investigated the clinical outcomes after MTBI in terms of their ability to return to work (RTW), but a comprehensive evaluation of RTW is still limited. This proposal thus aims to evaluate the ‘work quality' (WQ) originated from "work status" and "work stability" simultaneously, and further to explore the associations between post-concussion symptoms (PCS), neuropsychological functions and WQ.Methods: This is a 3-year research proposal. A total of 200 patients with MTBI are recruited prospectively in neurosurgical outpatient department. All participants will be evaluated by multiple measurements, which included PCS, neuropsychological functions and work quality index (WQI), were evaluated.Expected results: As a matter of fact, this proposal is based on the cumulative findings from our research team. After understanding the potential etiologies, influencing factors and intervention programs for patients with MTBI, a longitudinal WQ after MTBI, simultaneously considering work status and stability, was prospectively established in this proposal. In addition, the associations among PCS, neuropsychological functions and work quality can be revealed to provide a comprehensive caring model for patients with MTBI. | |
