| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 企業創新是產業的競爭力的表徵,也是奠定國家經濟成長的基礎。由世界經濟論壇(WEF)發佈的全球競爭力報告(The Global Competitiveness Report)中發現,過去台灣在全球競爭力指數(Global Competitiveness Index, GCI)排名中表現不俗,近年卻有倒退的趨勢,經濟亦呈現低迷狀態。在全球金融海嘯後,為了刺激經濟成長,央行實施低利率及貨幣寬鬆政策,大量游資投入房市,使房價不斷攀升。房價的持續上漲使房地產行業在一段時期維持著較高的報酬率,進而吸引企業跨足不動產市場。從長期來看,資本流向房地產,實體經濟則會得到較少的資本投入。在資本投入不足的情況下,企業創新能力下降,影響產業的競爭力,對經濟長期發展將產生不利影響。本研究欲了解房價對企業創新的影響,透過蒐集台灣上市櫃製造業公司之相關數據和公司專利數等相關變數,以時間序列分析作為模型,探討變數間在時間上之長期變動關係,並運用共整合分析與Granger 因果關係檢定以了解房價與企業創新之關聯性。期以研究之實證結果,提供正面之反饋建議給未來政策制定方向,奠定臺灣經濟永續發展之基礎。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Firm innovation is the symbol of the competitiveness of industries and the foundation of countries’ economic growth. The Global Competitiveness Report from WEF has declared the ranking of Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) in Taiwan was superior, however the performance has regressed in recent years. After the global economic crisis in 2008, Central bank of Taiwan started to carry out the low interest rate and easy money policies. However, instead of solving the problems of the economic depression, the policies has stimulated the housing prices to appreciate. The continuous surging of the housing prices spurred the rate of return in real estate industry higher than other industries. In other words, the high rate of return in real estate industry might have attracted capitals from enterprises in other industries, especially manufacturing sectors. It is expected that the investment in real estate industry from other industries may crowd out the capitals in innovation. In the long run, the reduction of the innovation of the enterprises will adversely affect the competitiveness of Taiwan. This study intends to collect the data of the patents and R&D expenditures of the manufactures from listed companies in Taiwan, and empirically test the relationship between housing price and firm innovation by Time Series, Cointegration and Granger Causality test. It is expected that the results of this study may provide lessons and directions for policy making so as to rebuild the sustainable economic foundation for Taiwan. | |
