| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 本研究計畫嘗試探討在國際上洽簽區域貿易協定的風潮當中，台灣的福利及貿易表現將受到那些影響。本計畫預計使用Caliendo and Parro (2015)所提出structural gravity model 進行分析，並將著重討論: (1)韓國與各主要貿易國簽定區域貿易協定對台灣的影響；(2) RCEP 的簽定對台灣的可能影響；及(3) 我們另外會進一步分析在考量非關稅措施後上述區域貿易協定簽定後對台灣的影響。我們使用Caliendo and Parro (2015)模型進行分析的另一優點是我們可以將總體福利效果依部門別及貿易夥伴國別的貢獻進行拆解。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | This project studies how the signings of RTAs among other countries affect the welfare and trade performance in Taiwan. Specifically, I will study the consequences of Korea’s entry into RTAs on Taiwan, the potential effects of the establishment of the RCEP on Taiwan, and finally consider the impact of RTAs when non-tariff measures are also accounted for. The structural gravity model I will use is based on Caliendo and Parro (2015), and it allows me to decompose the aggregate welfare effects into the terms of trade and volume of trade effects, and also identify the differential effects across sectors and trading partners. | |
