| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 為尊重研究對象之隱私,本研究中所提之企業名稱皆為化名。本研究以教學個案形式探討台灣面板產業之晶維光電於推展電視整機代工新事業時所面臨的挑戰與抉擇。研究動機來自學生實際工作經驗,觀察企業在新事業推進過程中,如何在資源有限、外部市場不確定性高的情境下,做出是否持續投入或及時止損的策略選擇。本研究聚焦於晶維與北美電視品牌VISTARA之合作歷程,並透過真實事件與營運數據呈現決策情境。
本論文綜合商學院課程中所學之理論架構,包括供應鏈管理、價值鏈分析、策略資源配置,以及數位轉型應用等觀點,進行個案分析與討論。並綜合性從財務面切入,檢視整機事業之獲利性與資源佔用;從策略角度評估該新事業是否具備長期競爭優勢與投資正當性;從數位轉型面觀察企業如何透過數據系統強化供應鏈管理與決策效率。
透過此個案,期望能實際應用商學知識於企業真實決策場景中,並理解在面對高度變動環境時,管理者如何整合資訊、評估風險與做出務實決策。最終,本研究不僅為學術應用提供素材,也為企業高階主管在新事業推進過程中提供參考思考方向。 | zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | To protect the confidentiality of the participating company, a pseudonym is used throughout this case study. This study adopts a teaching case approach to explore the challenges and strategic dilemmas faced by Jingwei Optoelectronics, a leading Taiwanese panel manufacturer, in the development of its television set ODM business. The research is motivated by the author’s practical work experience, observing how firms navigate strategic decisions under constraints of limited resources and external uncertainty when engaging in new business ventures. The case focuses on Jingwei Optoelectronics' evolving collaboration with North American TV brand VISTARA, using real events and operational data to present a realistic decision-making context.
This thesis integrates theoretical frameworks learned from business school curricula, including supply chain management, value chain analysis, strategic resource allocation, and digital transformation applications. It analyzes the profitability and resource consumption of the ODM business from a financial perspective; evaluates the long-term competitiveness and investment rationale from a strategic view; and discusses how data systems enhance supply chain management and decision-making efficiency from a digital transformation standpoint.
Through this case, students are expected to apply business knowledge to real-world corporate decision scenarios and understand how managers synthesize information, assess risks, and make pragmatic choices in a volatile environment. Ultimately, the study aims not only to serve as an academic teaching material but also to offer useful insights for senior executives considering the future direction of emerging business initiatives. | en_US |
