Identity formation日期 2025 上傳時間 1-Sep-2025 15:57:35 (UTC+8) 摘要 本研究聚焦於威瑪時期德國「新女性」（die neue Frau）與白領女性（尤其是女秘書、女速記員）形象的建構過程，透過《柏林日報》（Berliner Tageblatt）的徵才廣告、商業雜誌的文化報導，以及伊姆加德・肯恩（Irmgard Keun）小說《吉爾吉：我們的一份子》（Gilgi - eine von uns），加上《前進報》的徵文比賽（Preisausschreiben），試圖解析女性主體如何在現代性與傳統性別秩序之間被建構、形塑並且試圖發聲的過程。本文認為「新女性」並非單一穩定的社會形象，而是在威瑪時代社會與文化矛盾中呈現出複雜、多元的樣貌，其形象游移於性別解放與「母性精神」（the spirit of motherliness）的回歸之間，展現出德國現代化過程中女性處境的複雜性。首先，透過《柏林日報》中針對女秘書與女速記員的徵才廣告與相關的文化報導。本文剖析雇主如何以技術標準化、外貌規範與性別角色為條件形塑理想職場女性形象，進而強化女性在勞動體系中的輔助性位置。這些資料反映了威瑪社會在工業理性化下，對白領女性既依賴又規訓的態度。其次，透過對《吉爾吉》及其在《前進報》所引發的女性投稿進行分析。本文觀察到女性讀者如何主動介入公共文本的詮釋與討論，且以書寫的方式辯論「誰是我們的一份子？」，在階級、性別與現代性壓力下展現其對「新女性」身份的認同、批判與重構。這一過程呈現了女性如何透過公開對話建構其界定的群體形象。本文藉由官方文宣與女性聲音的交互分析指出「新女性」形象的多重性與變動性，並主張威瑪時期的女性身份與主體認同，乃是在現代性危機與性別秩序交互影響下不斷協商後產生的歷史過程。
This article examines the construction of the “New Woman” and white-collar female identities—particularly secretaries and stenographers—in Weimar Germany. Drawing on job advertisements and cultural reports in the Berliner Tageblatt, alongside Irmgard Keun’s novel Gilgi – eine von uns and reader responses published in Vorwärts, the study explores how female subjectivity was shaped by tensions between modernity and traditional gender norms. The article argues that the “New Woman” was a fluid and contested figure situated between emancipation and a return to the “spirit of motherhood.” Employers’ expectations emphasized professional skills, appearance, and submissive behavior, reinforcing women’s subordinate role in the workforce. Meanwhile, female readers actively engaged in public debates about who could be considered “one of us,” offering diverse views shaped by class, gender, and ideology. This article, through an analysis of newspapers, documents, and women’s contributions, highlights the multiplicity and fluidity of the “New Woman” image.
