Firm Size日期 2025 上傳時間 1-Sep-2025 16:02:46 (UTC+8) 摘要 近年來隨著科技應用快速發展,全球對晶片需求持續攀升,進一步凸顯半導體供應鏈之重要性。台灣晶圓代工產業在全球半導體供應鏈中占有關鍵地位,長年維持市佔第一,為我國科技與經濟發展之重要支柱。隨著全球市場需求與技術演進,我國廠商面臨來自國際大型業者的激烈競爭,如何提升生產效率與營運表現,已成為產業永續發展之關鍵課題。本文聚焦於2014年至2023年間我國晶圓代工廠商與國際間大型晶圓代工廠商,採用資料包絡分析法(DEA),探討其在總技術效率、純技術效率與規模效率之表現,並進一步分析樣本組成與規模差異對效率評估的影響。 實證結果顯示,我國廠商在納入國際樣本後,總技術效率與純技術效率表現僅呈現小幅下滑,反映出我國晶圓代工產業具備穩健之運作基礎與生產條件,規模效率甚至略有提升。此外,不同規模廠商間存在顯著效率差異,大型廠商間效率差異顯著,整體表現易因個別廠商波動所影響;中型廠商效率水準易受景氣波動影響;小型廠商則相對穩定,整體表現波動最小。研究結果有助於理解我國晶圓代工廠商在全球競爭環境中的效率表現,並為未來政策與企業資源配置提供實證參考。
In recent years, the rapid development of technology has increased global chip demand, highlighting the importance of the semiconductor supply chain. Taiwan’s foundry industry, holding the largest market share, plays a crucial role in the global semiconductor ecosystem and serves as a pillar of the nation’s technological and economic development. As demand rises and technologies evolve, Taiwanese foundries face intense competition from global leaders. Thus, enhancing production efficiency and operational performance has become vital for maintaining competitiveness. This study evaluates the efficiency of Taiwanese foundries and the world’s leading foundries from 2014 to 2023 using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). It examines technical, pure technical, and scale efficiencies, and explores how firm size and sample composition affect efficiency outcomes. The results show that, despite the inclusion of global competitors, Taiwanese firms’ total and pure technical efficiency declined only slightly, whale scale efficiency showed a slight improvement. Efficiency differences across firm sizes are evident: large firms are affected by performance volatility due to individual firm fluctuations, medium-sized firms are more sensitive to economic cycles, and small firms maintain the most stable overall performance. These findings provide valuable insights for understanding Taiwan’s foundry industry in the global competitive environment and support future policy-making and resource allocation.參考文獻 中文文獻: 李至欣.
